The St. Lawrence Health Substance Use Disorder team recognizes that addiction is a chronic disease. Because of that, we are proud to provide a continuum of care for individuals with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. We offer integrated, holistic, cognitive-behavioral therapy that is both comprehensive and individualized in nature. If you or a loved one are struggling with substance use, contact us today.
St. Lawrence Health's team consists of a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Master Social workers (LMSW), and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASAC), and Registered Nurses (RNs).
Our clinicians support our participants by providing individual and group counseling through a trauma-informed lens, as well as psychoeducational group therapy. The treatment program encompasses a holistic approach to recovery, including a diverse range of content to explore, such as emotional, intellectual, psychological, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual. Each clinician commits to helping individuals explore how their lives became unmanageable through substance use. Each patient's unique and individual journey to wellness and recovery will be offered with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Our 17-bed inpatient unit provides a medically monitored 24-hour structured care setting with a person-centered, individualized plan that is customized to meet the needs and recovery goals of each patient.
